Ne-Yo "Let Me Love You" Live

Pretty decent...Not his best vocal, but not bad...The dance break at the end was pretty dope.

New Ciara Video: "Sorry"

Well...She looked great! The song is OK...but I did expect a little bit more...I just don't think it was her best bet to put out a song as such (especially when her vocals are not the best) for her first single. She needs something that hits hard, and that allowed her to really DANCE, which is clearly her best quality as a performer. It'll be interesting to see how the single choice pans out for her. Again, it's not bad to me, but I don't know that it was the best choice.

In Case You Haven't Heard: New Nicki Minaj "Boys" ft. Cassie

It's aight...A lot of folks are not feeling it so much, but it's catchy, and I don't doubt that it will be a hit on radio. It's definitely a pop records, but I think it will do a lot better than something like "Starships" on urban radio. We shall see...

New Videos: Rick Ross and Ace Hood

It's funny that Rick Ross is promoting the President in the beginning of the video despite the fact that President Obama probably doesn't agree with any part of the track. lol  I guess if Rick Ross can sway some votes his way, he is happy lol The video was nothing memorable though. I feel the same about the Ace Hood video, the song is kinda dope but the video is forgettable. I wish more Hip Hop artist would be more creative with their videos. Then the video could actually aid to the success of the song (You know the purpose of a music video...) I think many have forgotten this, or is the recession to blame?

Alicia Keys: "Not Even The King" Live

Thank You LORD! She definitely redeemed herself from that not so stellar VMA performance. Let's hope she continues to keep giving us performances as such.

New Alicia Keys: "Not Even The King"

In typical Alicia style. A piano heavy, uplifting ballad, with good lyrical content. Although not as catchy has some of her previous inspirational ballads, a good listen in my opinion.

Fantasia, Joe, & Karen Clark Sheard Tribute Mariah Carey

Joe gave us an controlled, nearly flawless vocal delivery and brought it home at the end. Fantasia and Karen Clark Sheard of course took us to church. Good tribute for Mariah. She is definitely and Icon, and what makes her even more of an Icon is the fact that she is a songwriter. Good too see her being recognized as the Legend she is.
