Miguel "Sure Thing" Video

The video was aight...The song is dope though. Miguel seems as though he may be around for a minute, if he keeps delivering quality tracks as such. It's good to finally here some new material from him. even though I think this is a track that has been out a while. Good ish...

New Music: Kanye West (New Version), Rick Ross, Eminem ft. Alicia Keys (Snippet), Trey Songz, B.O.B, Keri Hilson, Letoya Luckett, and R. Kelly.

Kanye West: ICE COLD-Kanye does it again. This time bringing all of his friends along to celebrate the Christmas Season. Good Stuff. SN: this is a newer version from the one I posted last time
Rick Ross-Aight. Typical Rick Ross track, typical Rick Ross flow...
Eminem ft. Alicia Keys-From the snippet. I can tell it could be a potential hit.
Trey Songz-Decent. Trey needs a rapper alter-ego doesn't he? lol
B.O.B- Dope Track. B.O.B continues to bring the heat.
Keri Hilson-O.K. sounds like a leftover track from her "No Boys Allowed" sessions.
Letoya Luckett-Decent. I assume she is trying to go the pop route this go round. Listening to her voice, she definitely has the potential to reach that market, with the right song....
R. Kelly-Decent. Another smooth R&B track from the King of R&B.

Ciara on Monique Show

Ciara Killed it once again. Although I'm still curious if she is singing live (almost sure it's pre-recorded) she has really stepped her performance game up for the "Basic Instinct" promo. It really sucks that her album is flopping. Best of luck to her, and maybe if she continues to give quality performances like this her album can continue to sell 37,000 copies a week all the way to platinum :)

For the most part I completely agree with the end results of the votes. Thanks to all who took out the time to vote. I dedicate a lot of time to this blog, and i appreciate your continuous support. My bias objections would be Monica for R&B Artist, and R&B song, lol, and Kanye West for Best Hip Hop Artist. The Artist that were chosen did rightfully deserve the honors though...lol Please continue to support 360 Ice Cold Entertainment, and spread the word about the blog. AYA and out!

Albums Out Today!

I haven't got a chance to listen to much of any of the albums yet. I heard some of Keyshia's stuff, and I must say I haven't been too impressed so far. I think this may be her worst album to date..but I have to give it a full listen. I've heard some of Keri's stuff as well. It's pretty decent, she is doing some different type of stuff, and I like. I am eager to hear both the Jamie Foxx album and the David Banner and 9th wonder joint. Go out and support BLACK MUSIC!

The Numbers Are In...

As you know last week was a big week for releases in Hip Hop and R&B Music. While some artist will have a lot to be jolly about this Christmas, others will not when it comes to album sales. So Who's #1 this week? Unfortunately none of the R&B/Hip Hop albums released last week took the spot. America's Got Talent winner Susan Boyle reigns another week atop of the charts having sold roughly 250,000 copies this week. Another big seller, Taylor Swift's latest release sold another amazing 251,000 copies this week. (WOW...) Michael Jackson's "Michael" LP will debut at #3 having sold about 224,000 copies (not too bad.) R. Kelly's "Love Letter" sold about 150,000 copies and will debut at the #6 slot. Diddy-Dirty Money barely made it in the top 10, coming in at the #10 slot with "Last Train to Paris" selling about 87,000 copies. Unfortunately Ciara's Basic Instinct only sold about 38,000 copies and will enter the chart at #43 (YIKES) Tank's Now or Never will debut at #38 having sold 41,000 copies. Unfortunately Kandi's Kandi Koated will not debut in the top 50.
These numbers are collected from Hits Daily Double and are subject to minor changes when the official chart debuts tomorrow.   I feel really bad for Ciara, hopefully she does something to help the album to continue to sale. This goes for Kandi and Tank as well...It's hard out there for R&B and Hip Hop Artist. Hopefully all of the albums will continue to sale. SUPPORT BLACK MUSIC!!!

Chris Brown Live at Wild Jam

He definitely kilt that ish...lol It was an high energy, crowd pleasing set. The only other thing he should have performed was "Deuces". I like the fact that the rest of the set was his newer music, and best hits. He is a dance BEAST, but I must say he was pretty winded in the first video. It was the intro to the set, and he obviously went balls to the walls, but he sounded a mess for a sec. He gets a pass on that one because we all know his true vocal ability. Most importantly he ENTERTAINED with that performance. It is very few people on his level, some would argue none...

Not much to say...They pretty much just rapped their songs. Nothing too special...It's good to see two of the biggest people in Hip Hop collab though. That's what's up. That new Lil Wayne track GO HARD though, and "Won't Back Down" By Eminem ft. Pink should be a single. That is all...
