New Videos: David Banner and Jeremih ft. 50 Cent

Both videos were fairly decent. David Banner's video went with the kinda old-school vibe of the song. BTW that song goes hard! David Banner is really coming back hard. Ludacris definitely was killing his verses as well. It was a fun video.
This may be the best Jeremih video to date. Although some may argue that there is not much to it, the cinematography and visual effects are great. The ladies were definitely low key killing it too, and they looked great. Dope song, and the video does it some justice IMO. What do you think of the Videos?

Kandi Koated Album Release Party in Chicago

A group of friends and I had the honor of attending Kandi's Album release party in Chicago last night. As you can see I had a chance to say hello to her and take a pic. She was very nice, and legitimately curious about how people felt about the new album. They played tracks from the album (which is a solid R&B album, very ballad driven) and also had free food, and free give-aways. It was a very new, and interesting experience for me. Unexpectedly laid back, and just chill. I would have liked to get it crackin' just a little bit harder, but I guess that is not what an event like this is for...lol  A great experience, and I hope to receive the opportunity to attend more events like this in the future. "Kandi Koated" IN STORES NOW!!! SN: She looked great in person, her body is sick, and she was just beautiful. Represented well for our beautiful chocolate sisters...lol

New Music: Nicki Minaj ft. Busta Rhymes, Keyshia Cole, David Banner ft. 9th Wonder & Erykah Badu, Trey Songz and Raheem Devaughn.

Nicki ft. Busta: SICK!!! Busta Rhymes is a beast! Come on with the next album. Dare I say he kinda killed Eminem's verse on the original? Just possibly saying...lol
Keyshia Cole: Decent. Nothing too spectacular, similar to the rest of the songs I heard from the LP thus far.
David Banner: Dope. The latest DB stuff I've heard has been really decent, and you can't go wrong with Erykah on the track.
Trey Songz: Decent typical Trey Songz love making music.
Raheem Devaughn: Decent Track. He is one of those underrated artist in R&B.

The video was definitely a recession special, but not the worst recession video I ever seen. The sing goes hard enough to hopefully save it from the not so special video. That girl can sang!!! That is all...

Diddy-Dirty Money "Ass on The Floor" Live

Not one of their best performances. I think it would have hit harder had they sung without the backing vocals, as the actually CAN sing. It was good to see them perform something besides "Coming Home" though...Just OK.

Wow...She F'n snapped. That performance was everything the "Ellen" performance was not. More energy, more attitude, and just overall better performance. If this girl could really sing live she would be a force to be reckoned with. But I must say her pre-recorded vocals are on point. She may be the best lip-syncer in the game. lol Good Stuff Ci Ci. Basic Instinct IN STORES NOW!!!

Chrisette Michelle Live on George Lopez

I almost made the mistake of overlooking this video, and what a mistake that would have been. Chrisette is a beast! She killed that performance. Her voice is unparalleled. Even though the dancers weren't doing much, less was better in this case and they added to the dynamic of the performance. Wow...Even though she is a Grammy Award winner, I still consider her one of the most underrated artist in the game. People need to recognize real talent, and real music.

New Music: Kanye West, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Omarion, Bobby V., 2 Pistols, Wale, and Keri Hilson.

Kanye West-Decent. A Christmas song with Kanye Swag, very interesting...
Lil Wayne-Go HARD
T-Pain-OK.Doubt it will be a single...
Omarion-Aight. Sounds like a unreleased track that will never see the light of day.
Bobby V.-Aight. Not memorable to be honest
2 Pistols-Worth A listen. We aint heard nothing from them in a minute. It was cool I guess..
Wale-GO HARD. Him and Roscoe is somewhat of a team now huh? Well it works and this track goes hard.
Keri Hilson-Decent. Sounds like a album filler, could possibly grow on me to be single material.

360 Ice Cold End of The Year Awards (VOTE! VOTE!! VOTE!!!)

Ciara "Gimme Dat" Live on Ellen

Great Performance. Ciara definitely killed it. I know that she is capable of giving a little more energy but overall it was on point. I hope that she continues to give performances like this, with her improved vocals (Even if they are pre-recorded..lol). Good stuff..."Basic Instinct" In Stores Now!!! 2nd Thoughts: Now that I have given the video a second watch 1. Them drums in the background was killing. 2. She wasn't singing live until a little bit at the end, when she began to slightly scream. 3. Her stepping toward the end was slightly a mess (The Step-Master in me talking) But overall I still enjoyed the performance. lol

DiRTY Money Live on The View

Another great performance of the track. The girls sounded great. I'm glad that they can actually sing well live. That song is just a feel good song, and is very much a anthem. SN: I am eager for a "Loving You No More" live performance. That is my ish, and I hate that they haven't really performed it live. "Last Train To Paris" IN STORES NOW!!!

Albums Out TODAY!!!

Today is a HUGE day of releases in Hip Hop and R&B music. I will for sure be purchasing "Last Train To Paris" in the near future. As far as the rest of the albums are concerned, I have to give them a listen. If they all are great I'll definitely be hitting up those after Christmas sales to purchase them. I am a firm believer in if the album is good enough to purchase, you should actually buy it and not download it. Now if it's only a few songs you care for, then I'm not against downloading. I'm sure Diddy-Dirty money will have the biggest debut as it is the album that has received the most promotion, but I guess we'll see...Good Luck to all the artist. They are all talented, and deserving of success...SUPPORT BLACK MUSIC!!!

Great Performance.Vocals were on point, and even Diddy performed exceptionally well. lol "Coming Home" is officially my ish. "Last Train To Paris" In Stores NOW!!!

Mariah Carey Christmas Special

Good Stuff From Mariah. The Diva was definitely in her element being able to simply sing. With no choreo and not too much movement Mariah was able to sing, and sound the best she has sounded in years. Now I can not give her full credit, as it is evident that there was clearly some editing done with the vocals of the show. I believe that some of her vocals were post-edited after she recorded the concert live. This is something that many artist do for live tapping. Overall great Christmas program. It's good to see Mariah doing well as her new Christmas album "Merry Christmas II you" is doing very well on the charts right now...Go figure, It's Christmas time! Merry Christmas everyone...

Jamie Foxx ft. Drake "Fall For Your Type" Live on Ellen

Jamie took us to church didn't he? lol That was an interesting vocal rendition of the track, but a good one. The whole swag of the performance was just cool. I would have liked to see the dancers do a little more, but other than that good performance. Jamie Foxx "Night of My Life" in stores December 21st.

New Dirty Money Video "Ass on the Floor"

The video is decent...Nothing to spectacular, but it is good to see the two girls in the limelight for a chance. They are both really talented, and should be showcased more. I guess at the end of the day, it is DIDDY-dirty money. #kanyeshrug "Last Train To Paris" out tomorrow!!! SN: Swiss did his thing with the beat. He's a beast!
