For My Dancers: Choreography by Luam
She is a beast! For those who don't know she is the mastermind behind Kelly Rowland's breakthrough video "Motivation" and her critically acclaimed 2011 BET Awards performance. She has also worked with Beyonce, Britney Spears, Ludacris, Kanye West, Ciara, and Rihanna to name a few.
2012 VMA Performances and Winners
Typical Rihanna performance. The production was great, choreography nice, but she just didn't give us what we needed. Instead she gave so-so vocals and stiff movement. The choreography was nice but she seems to never want to put her all into choreo. It could have been worse though...I just want to know what happened to the days when the VMA openings were HUGE. I guess those days are long gone...
Although he sounded a little nervous at first, Frank Ocean came with it vocally. I kind of wish he would have went into another song, but it was a decent breakthrough performance.
Pink always gives good energy with her performances. Vocally, not her best, but it was entertaining.
2 Chains was shockingly entertaining. Although him and Wayne looked like coons jumping around at times, it was a interesting watch to say the least. lol
I like Alicia Keys a lot, and I feel like she is one of the more talented artist of the new generation. I feel as though she is taking a turn for the worse. She has just not been able to deliver vocally as of lately. This was one of her worst vocal performances ever! Let's hope she redeems herself in future performances.
Overall I was not impressed with the VMAs this year. It was nothing special. Ususally this award show has some of the most interesting/out of the box performances and antics, and this year it was kind of blah...Peep The winners list below.

Elle Varner Live on Verses & Flow
Good stuff. Although I was excited when she finally came behind the mic and worked the stage a little on "Refill" she sang well. I preferred the "I Don't Care" performance over the "Refill" though. She has a little work to do performance wise, but she is definitely a artist to look out for.

New Video: 50 Cent "Definition of Sexy"
Enh....The Song is OK. It would have to grow on me. The only thing saving the video is the fine ass lead chick, then again I guess that was the purpose, "Definition of Sexy." Not sure where this track came from or what it will be on, but I need 50 to bring "Get Rich or Die Tryin" or "Curtis" 50 back. The track is not bad though. Hope to hear better music from 50 in the near future. The "New Day" track is nice though. If you haven't heard listen below.

New Song: Rihanna "Cockiness" Remix ft. A$AP ROCKY
Dope Track. A$AP Rocky's verse added a more urban swag to the track. A smart move from Rihanna's camp seeing as though people have been bumping this track since the release of "Talk That Talk" It was clever to add something new to the formula.

New Song: Alicia Keys "Girl On Fire" ft. Nicki Minaj
Dope Track. I can see it being another big hit for Alicia Keys. I believe it has crossover appeal. It's good to hear Nicki just spit without all the extra too. I'm sure after her performance on the VMA's (Thurs. September 6) it will blaze the charts.
Brandy "Put It Down" Live (First Televised Performance)
Good Job Brandy. I pretty sure those were pre-recorded vocals, but what the hell? As long as you are entertaining us, and you've proven your vocal ability, you get a pass these days. It's good to see her looking comfortable with the choreography because in some of her past performances that was not the case. Brandy "Two Eleven" In Stores October 16th!
