New Music: Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Young Joc, Timbaland, Pitbull ft. Ne-Yo, and Yung Berg.

Lil Wayne-Dope Track! It is great musically, lyrically, his flow was sick. He kilt that track. Some deep ish too...
Trey Songz-Dope Track. Funny thing is Trey used to be a rapper before he start singing. The track is funny, but decent at the same time...
Young Joc-Decent Track. I don't know how I feel about this new thing, where people take a line from a recent song and make a new song. It's like, ain't it too soon to be sampling that? Oh well...Good hood music though.
Timbaland-Decent Track, Timbaland is a beast on the beats. He always makes music with a futuristic type of sound. This song kinda sounds like his 90's material, but hell that was futuristic, so its perfect for now...lol Good ish.
Pitbull-Decent Track. This is going to go hard on Pop radio, and in the club. If I'm not mistaking I previously posted a song with all Ne-Yo vocals of this. I think I may like the Pitbull version better...
Yung Berg-I don't know how I feel about this one yet. It's aight I guess...

New Video: Jennifer Hudson-Where You At?

She looks Amazing. I'm so glad that she lost weight and in a healthy way. The video is decent...It was more than I expected for a song like this. I must say that the song has really grew on me. Partly because she is singing the hell out of it! That girl got some serious pipes. She looks beautiful in the video, and the concept goes great with the song. Although it's not the best video, I really have no complaints. Good ish Jennifer...SN:S/O to J.Hud for shooting the video in Chicago. That is something that artist, even artist native to Chicago rarely do, and as you see the video turned out great. Chi-Town Stand Up! lol

New Video: Dr. Dre ft. Eminem-I Need A Doctor

Deep Video. It's good to see a good quality video this day and age. It's crazy how it's Dre's song but Eminem has more verses. Well I guess it's not the first time. lol The song is deep though. I guess it was Emienem's chance to pay homage to Dre, because if it wasn't for Dre it would probably not be a Eminem. Perfect song, Perfect video for Dr. Dre's comeback. Good ish...

New Music: 50 Cent, T Pain, Eminem ft. B.O.B, Lil Wayne, Raekwon/Rick Ross/Ghostface Killah, Young Dro, and Llyod Banks.

50 cent-Dope track. One of the best he spitted in a long time...
T-Pain-This song goes hard! It is a record that has crossover appeal. Good beat, cathcy, I see it having a crazy video. Dope Track, definetly more geared toward Pop genre though...
Eminem ft. B.O.B-Decent Track. Eminem had his comical flow, and B.O.B. did the track great justice as well.
Lil Wayne
-Sounds like it's gon be a dope track. Lil Wayne is that nigga. That is all...
Raekwon--Decent track. They all spit some pretty solid verses.
Young Dro1st track-Gotta love the hood records...It's a good hood joint though...lol 2nd track-Decent Track. Pretty much any track with Chris Brown on it, is a hit these days.
Llyod Banks-Decent Track. Travis did his thing on the drums.

Travis Barker Ft. The Clipse - Come and Get It from DanTheMan on Vimeo.

Decent Video. The track is dope as hell. The video is dope visually as well. Good special effects and cinematography. Travis is a beast on the drums, and he couldn't have picked anyone better but Clipse to rap over the track. Good ish...

Trey Songz did a pretty decent job. Performance wise he killed it, but vocally there was a few issues here and there. lol Overall he sounded cool though. Guy did there thing...They always have hella energy when they perform, and they really put on a show. Their vocals weren't 100% either but they did a good job. Ne-Yo kinda disappointed me. He just sounded real flat, and sharp to me. Now I'm no singer, but he didn't sound to good...Keyshia Cole surprisingly sounded pretty good. Some may disagree, but she sounded exactly like the song sounds on the CD, so that's good. It is a beautiful song as well. Marsha Ambrosious killed it! She is a vocal beast. Sometimes her little shaky run thing is a bit much, but she did good...Naturally 7 is amazing. They sound like a real band. A really unique talent. Lala Hatahaway is A BEAST! I been sleep, because I just realized how cold her voice was...Wow...she is amazing. Yolanda Adamns blessed the audience as she always does, but I must say I wasn't a fan of her singing that particular song.

Overall it was a great show. Very uplifting and influential for black people. They honored some great individuals who some of which I knew not too much about, but learned a lot from. If you get a chance, check out one of the a million encores of the show On BET. lol

New Music: Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber ft Tyga, Cam'ron, Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson, and R. Kelly.

Nas ft. Swizz Beatz-Swizzy is a beast! I can't say it enough. He makes feel good music. Music that makes you feel like you on top of the world. Nas did his thing on the track. It's good to hear from him and hopefully he comes with more material like this, this go round...
Lupe Fiasco- 1st track-Dope track. Typical Lupe flow, good ish though 2nd track-Is going to go hard for pop radio. Decent track..SN: A I the only one that heard kind of a Nicki Minaj flow? lol Maybe I'm tripping...
Justin Bieber ft. Tyga-Decent Track. Tyga gave the track some street cred. lol And maybe a chance to make it to R&B radio. Good ish...
Cam'ron-Interesting track...Never was a fan of Cam'ron. This track is kinda a joke to me...
Ne-Yo-Decent Track. Nice mix of Pop and R&B sound. I see Ne-yo is taking a stab at the electro-pop sound in hopes of a international hit. It's Ok....It will be interesting to see if it released, and how it will fair on the charts...
Keri Hilsonn-Interesting Track...Decent beat, she sounds cool, I'm just not sure how I feel about the lyrics. I definitely don't think its good enough to be released as a single. I do like her vocals on the track though...
R. Kelly-DOPE Track. Although it has kind of a "The Dream" vibe. Kells killed the track. I can definitely hear it on radio, if I haven't already...:/ Good ish Kells.

New Music: Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Jadakiss, Waka Flocka, 50 Cent, Young Joc, and Bruno Mars ft. Lil Wayne.

Kanye-Dope Track. That beat go hard with the song. Is that Travis Barker on the drums? Probably so...
Lupe-Decent Track. He did his thing with the freestyle. He is a very underrated artist.
Jadakiss-dope track, nice beat,, killer flow.
Waka Flocka-BOW BOW BOW!!! lmao
50 Cent-Decent Track. 50 had a decent flow over the track, and it sounds like something that could have been on his "Get Rich or Die Tryin" Album. Which is a good thing...
Young Joc-lol funny track...don't know how I feel about it yet. Good to hear some new material from Joc though...
Grenade Remix-Lil Wayne did his thing on the remix. Very solid verse.

Rihanna NBA All-Star Half Time

Rihanna is always such a tough subject to talk about. Sometimes she has OK performances, and sounds pretty good, then you have performances like this. Now there is no question that the girl has some hits, but you would have to be a fool to not see that the vocals, and the performance is NO WHERE where it should be for a performer of her status. Flat, shaky vocals. Sloppy and simple dance moves. She has A LOT to improve. She should probably just stop singing "Only Girl In The World" period, because she always sounds horrific singing it. She not only needs work on dancing and singing at the same time, but DANCING IN GENERAL. If she is not stiff, she is sloppy as all hell. I've just not been impressed with her performances, especially of this "Loud" era. The girl makes some hits, but she GOTTA DO BETTER! Rihanna and Kanye saved the day for this performance. That is all...

Katy Perry Covers Rihanna, Jay Z, and Willow Smith

Interesting spin on the tracks. Katy Perry performed pretty decent acoustic performances of the tracks. I have no complaints. It was interesting to hear her cover "Big Pippin" How random right? Good ish Katy....
