Although there were a few snubs IMO, the Grammys did pretty good this year as far as recognizing deserving music. I'm glad to see REAL R&B music like Anita Baker, Tamia and Tyrese nominated. I'm also glad they recognized talented new age R&B artist like Miguel (Song of the Year) and Luke James (R&B Performance) I am upset that Beyonce's "Love On Top" only got 1 nomination, but when you have 16 Grammys I guess you can give someone else a chance... I also think Brandy was snubbed as "Put it Down" didn't receive nominations. It was good to see that Nas got a few nominations for "Daughters" as it is lyrically one of the best rap songs of the year. I would have liked to see Lupe Fiasco's "Bitch Bad" nominated for Best Rap Song and Performace as it was a great lyrical track as well. Big Ups to the always deserving Kanye and Jay Z for a leading 6 nominations. Shout out to Frank Ocean for being the only R&B artist nominated in many of the main categories such as "Album of the Year" "Record of the Year"  "Best New Artist" and for also leading the pack with 6 nominations.  I can't wait to see who takes home the gold on Feb. 10th!
